18m² apartment on the 2nd floor in the Kerameikos area featuring one double bed, a fully equipped bathroom and a full kitchen with gas hobs. There ‘s an HDTV (streaming service accounts not provided) and suitable sleeping space for up to 2 people. Only a short walk from Ermou, Monastiraki & Thissio.
The bathroom has 24h hot water, a 2in1 shampoo/shower gel combo, hand soap, 1 bath towel and 1 guest towel per person. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, a microwave and gas hobs. Also included will be a starter pack of Greek coffee powder, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. In the summer months, blankets are not provided. Instead, we provide a sheet covering. This is common practice in Greece during the summer. The flat is equipped with A/C and a thermostat. In the wardrobe you ‘ll find hangers, an iron and a hair dryer. We have tested the WiFi 🛜 to a confirmed speed of up to 10Mbps.
SPECIAL FEATURES
There ‘s a tiny private balcony so you can grab some fresh air. On the ground floor of the building you ‘ll find a shared washing machine (€4 per use). Take the 1st lift to the top floor to experience our spectacular communal rooftop terrace where you can gaze at an all-embracing Acropolis, Mount Lycabettus and the rest of Athens below!

Metro Journeys: 🚇
-Athens Airport: ✈️ 56 – 91 min and €10 per person. You ‘ll have to walk about 5 – 10 min to reach the Metro from the Airport terminal, crossing the street outside the building and taking an escalator to the station. Trains are every 30 min. Take the train and get off at Monastiraki station. From there, its a 10 minute walk to the listing.
-Piraeus port 🚢: 35 – 50 min and costs €2 per person (05:00 – 00:30). You ‘ll have to walk from your gate and cross the street via the footbridge to reach the Piraeus Metro station (10 min). Once again get off at Monastiraki. Its only a 10 minute walk from there.

We enjoyed the stay! The neighborhood may seem odd at first glance, but it quickly feels comfortable. Instead, take advantage of the location of the apartment to discover the surroundings of Rue Menandrou, a very lively multicultural neighborhood. Otherwise, everything is within walking distance, we did everything on foot during our stay.
Everything was super, is close to the most tourist area, a goods restaurants, and the view if the pantheon is incredible! I recommend stay there !!

I had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb! The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. However, the balcony is quite small and doesn’t comfortably fit a chair, and there’s quite a bit of noise when the balcony door is open. Also, the bathroom layout is a bit unusual, with the toilet situated inside the shower area, which might be inconvenient for some. Overall, it’s a good place for a short stay if location and cleanliness are priorities
Elbows in! These are tight quarters and I would say it is best suited for a solo, low-maintenance traveler like myself. One person’s luggage will fill the space and leave little room for anyone or anything else. There is a kitchenette, but it’s a mere three feet from the edge of the bed. The bathroom is narrow as well, so much so that the toilet is actually in the shower. Heaven’t seen that one before, but then again, you can only work with the space you have and they’ve done a good job with it. Having said that, the shower is fantastic, the bed comfortable, the unit clean and looks newly renovated, towels clean and fresh, and the hosts are incredibly professional and responsive. It can be a good deal if all you need is a place to lay your head at night. Convenient and walkable to all the main areas of center Athens.
