78m² apartment on the 4th floor in the Psyri area featuring two king-size bedrooms, one king-size sofa-bed in the living room, one full-size bathroom, a full kitchen and a balcony with a lovely view of the square. There are a total of 3 HDTVs (streaming service accounts not provided). There is suitable sleeping space for up to 6 people. Only a short walk from Ermou, Monastiraki & Thissio.
The bathroom includes a 2in1 shampoo/shower gel combo, hand soap, 1 bath towel and 1 guest towel per person. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, a microwave, gas hobs and a NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto coffee maker (capsules are not provided). Also included will be a starter pack of Greek coffee powder, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. In the summer months, blankets are not provided. Instead, we provide a sheet covering. This is common practice in Greece during the summer. The flat is equipped with A/C and a thermostat. In the wardrobe you ‘ll find hangers, an iron and a hair dryer. We have tested the WiFi 🛜 to a confirmed speed of up to 202Mbps.

Metro Journeys: 🚇
-Athens Airport: ✈️ 56 – 91 min and €10 per person. You ‘ll have to walk about 5 – 10 min to reach the Metro from the Airport terminal, crossing the street outside the building and taking an escalator to the station. Trains are every 30 min. Take the train and get off at Monastiraki station. From there, its a 10 minute walk to the listing.
-Piraeus port 🚢: 35 – 50 min and costs €2 per person (05:00 – 00:30). You ‘ll have to walk from your gate and cross the street via the footbridge to reach the Piraeus Metro station (10 min). Once again get off at Monastiraki. Its only a 10 minute walk from there.

Excellent communication, the people who manage the accommodation are very friendly and responsive. Several recommendations on things to do in Athens. Autonomous arrival and departure very convenient. Arriving at night, we took the taxi service offered, it was very convenient and normal rate. Beautiful view from the apartment and terrace. Comfortable beds.
Great stay at Sokol’s apartment. It is conveniently located for visiting Athens on foot. It is very well equipped and all the bedding is very comfortable ( which is rare in Airbnb). The double glazing at the windows is also very nice because Athens is a quite noisy city. Sokol is very responsive before and during the stay. We really enjoyed booking the taxi to the airport on arrival and departure. If we have to come back to Athens, we will definitely come back to Sokol’s place.
Spacious apartment. The two large king beds were fantastic. Everything was clean. The washer dryer were handy; I’d recommend bringing your own detergent. All in all, good value for money. Highly recommend. A few points to note: * Apt is right outside the touristy area and a bit rundown with graffiti. Nevertheless, we never felt unsafe and it was nice to get away from the extreme crowds and noise of Monasteraki while still being close to it. * The shower area doesn’t have a wall on one of its long sides. While this allows for more air space while showering, it can make the bathroom floor quite wet. * Unlike most Airbnbs, upon checkout, the apt keys need to be returned to their *lockbox outside the building doors*. We forgot and left them in the apt (as instructed by the 3 other Airbnbs we stayed at in Europe), which did inconvenience the host and cleaners. Finally, there is a large painting in the LR of a naked couple embracing. Something to keep in mind if you have kids.
