19m² apartment on the 7th floor in the Kerameikos area featuring one double bed, a small but fully equipped bathroom, a basic kitchen and a balcony with a spectacular panoramic view of The Acropolis, Mount Lycabettus, and the rest of Athens below. Please note that part of the rooftop is shared and part is private only for this listing. It is divided by a small gate. There ‘s an HDTV and suitable sleeping space for up to 2 people. Only a 10 minute walk from Ermou, Monastiraki & Thissio.
The bathroom (3m²/2.2m height) has 24h hot water, a 2in1 shampoo/shower gel combo, hand soap, 1 bath towel and 1 guest towel per person. The kitchen includes an under-counter fridge/freezer, a microwave, gas hobs and a NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto coffee maker (capsules are not provided). Also included will be a starter pack of Greek coffee powder, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. In the summer months, blankets are not provided. Instead, we provide a sheet covering. This is common practice in Greece during the summer. The flat is equipped with A/C and in the wardrobe you ‘ll find hangers, an iron and a hair dryer.

Metro Journeys: 🚇
-Athens Airport: ✈️ 56 – 91 min and €10 per person. You ‘ll have to walk about 5 – 10 min to reach the Metro from the Airport terminal, crossing the street outside the building and taking an escalator to the station. Trains are every 30 min. Take the train and get off at Monastiraki station. From there, its a 10 minute walk to the listing.
-Piraeus port 🚢: 35 – 50 min and costs €2 per person (05:00 – 00:30). You ‘ll have to walk from your gate and cross the street via the footbridge to reach the Piraeus Metro station (10 min). Once again get off at Monastiraki. Its only a 10 minute walk from there.

Great place, you literally lie down and enjoy the citadel. There is also a telescope and binoculars in the apartment that you can see the citadel closer! Great choice and highly recommend!
Sokols appartment has one of the best views of the acropolis in Athens. We spent most of our time on the rooftop deck enjoying the view and waking up to a view of the acropolis was amazing.
Airbnb was as described, very clean, comfy bed, great patio and view of the Acropolis. About a 5 minute walk to the main tourist area of Psyri with many great restaurants. About a 25 minute walk to the Acropolis. Host’s were accommodating and easy to work with.
