Studio apartment on the 1st floor in the Kerameikos area featuring one King-size bed (and another small double bed overhead on the mezzanine) and a fully equipped bathroom. There ‘s an HDTV (streaming service accounts not provided) and suitable sleeping space for up to 4 people. Only a short walk from Ermou, Monastiraki & Thissio.
The bathroom has 24h hot water, a 2in1 shampoo/shower gel combo, hand soap, 1 bath towel and 1 guest towel per person. There is a fridge/freezer, a microwave, and a Nespresso® Original coffee maker (capsules are not provided). You will find Greek coffee powder, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil in the communal kitchen on the rooftop. In the summer months, blankets are not provided. Instead, we provide a sheet covering. This is common practice in Greece during the summer. The flat is equipped with A/C. In the wardrobe you ‘ll find hangers, an iron and a hair dryer. We have tested the WiFi 🛜 to a confirmed speed of up to 176Mbps.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Our gorgeous listing has been created using traditional design cues from the eponymous island. On the ground floor of the building you ‘ll find a shared washing machine (€5 per use). The dryer is free. On the top floor you can experience our lovely communal terrace, including a fully equipped kitchen 🍳!

Airport pickups require a flight number. *If you don’t end up booking a taxi through us but arrange it on your own, make sure they don’t charge you more than the quoted amounts, and don’t pay them any mind if they speak negatively about our listings or the area. Some taxi drivers work with competitors 🙂
Metro Journeys: 🚇
-Athens Airport: ✈️ 56 – 91 min and €10 per person. You ‘ll have to walk about 5 – 10 min to reach the Metro from the Airport terminal, crossing the street outside the building and taking an escalator to the station. Trains are every 30 min. Take the train and get off at Monastiraki station. From there, its a 10 minute walk to the listing.
-Piraeus port 🚢: 35 – 50 min and costs €2 per person (05:00 – 00:30). You ‘ll have to walk from your gate and cross the street via the footbridge to reach the Piraeus Metro station (10 min). Once again get off at Monastiraki. Its only a 10 minute walk from there.

great host and great place to stay
We really appreciated the availability and advice from the renter. There were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) and taxi transportation from the airport to the accommodation was very convenient. The accommodation is close to the various tourist places and in the evening we preferred to return with UBER, the neighborhood being dirty and poorly lit. But if we have to go back to Athens, we will go back because the place is really great. We enjoyed the terrace for breakfast and I think the neighborhood is under renovation.
We had an awesome stay at Sokol Apartment! It’s super central—just a few minutes from the old town. The host was really friendly and gave us great tips on what to see, plus helped us with taxi rides to the airport. They even held our luggage after checkout so we could explore a bit more before our late flight. Thanks for such a great experience!
Small space for 4 but we found all the necessary amenities. The kitchen is shared and is on the terrace. Great for a few days in Athens
The main attractions were within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is home to some culinary surprises. Super cute cafes, green gems in the form of places where tourists mingle with locals in gourmet places. We never felt unsafe at any time, even though the area is surprisingly characterized by vacant shops, camps and partly demolished houses. A special charm.
