20m² apartment on the 2nd floor in the Kerameikos area featuring 1 double bedroom, a double sofa-bed in the living room, a fully equipped bathroom, a full kitchen with gas hobs, and a private balcony. There ‘s an HDTV (streaming service accounts not provided) and suitable sleeping space for up to 2 people. Only a short walk from Ermou, Monastiraki & Thissio.
The bathroom has 24h hot water, a 2in1 shampoo/shower gel combo, hand soap, 1 bath towel and 1 guest towel per person. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, a microwave, gas hobs and a NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto coffee maker (capsules are not provided). Also included will be a starter pack of Greek coffee powder, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. In the summer months, blankets are not provided. Instead, we provide a sheet covering. This is common practice in Greece during the summer. The flat is equipped with A/C and a thermostat. In the wardrobe you ‘ll find hangers, an iron and a hair dryer. We have tested the WiFi 🛜 to a confirmed speed of up to 10Mbps.
SPECIAL FEATURES
There ‘s a cozy private balcony with outdoor dining space for 2 people. On the ground floor of the building you ‘ll find a shared washing machine (€4 per use). Take the 1st lift to the top floor to experience our spectacular communal rooftop terrace where you can gaze at an all-embracing Acropolis, Mount Lycabettus and the rest of Athens below!

Metro Journeys: 🚇
-Athens Airport: ✈️ 56 – 91 min and €10 per person. You ‘ll have to walk about 5 – 10 min to reach the Metro from the Airport terminal, crossing the street outside the building and taking an escalator to the station. Trains are every 30 min. Take the train and get off at Monastiraki station. From there, its a 10 minute walk to the listing.
-Piraeus port 🚢: 35 – 50 min and costs €2 per person (05:00 – 00:30). You ‘ll have to walk from your gate and cross the street via the footbridge to reach the Piraeus Metro station (10 min). Once again get off at Monastiraki. Its only a 10 minute walk from there.

We highly recommend this airbnb. The hosts simply covered all the bases and made sure we have all the information we need prior to, during and even after our stay. We would stay here again.
Elevator works properly, self check-in is super fast and comfortable, the area is communicated by several metro stations. Hosts of theirs, friendly and responsive. Overall a great option!
We only stayed for one night – for that purpose the airbnb was sufficient, it was tidy and clean, had everything you need and the owner was friendly and provided plenty of information. The apartment is quite narrow, but otherwise modernly furnished and equipped. It is situated centrally and in walking distance to the acropolis. Unfortunately the area was pretty run down, there are no restaurants nearby and it was very loud during the night with lots of traffic. In the end it‘s very convenient but it just wasn‘t the right thing for us.

Wow, what a find! We were really happy with this AirBnB – the area was just outside the tourist district so felt more truly ‘Athenian’, but it was a close walk to some lovely restaurants and shops. As a host, Sokol (& team) couldn’t help us enough, and always responded super quickly, which was really reassuring. We’d stay here again, for sure!

The place was great. Location was very close to good restaurants and bars. Acropolis and the other main tourist attraction were in walking distance, or bus distance. It is quite small but definitely worth the price. Saw complaints in other reviews about the noise, but we did not feel that it was particularly noisy – it’s a city, and there will be outside noise, you can’t avoid it unless you’re very high up. Would definitely book again. 🙂
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Metaxourgeio is a great neighbourhood to explore Athens by foot. Short walk to Pysirri and Exarcheia. Highly recommend checking out Avdi Square in Metaxourgeio for a morning coffee or afternoon drink.
The apartment is impeccable, very secure and reassuring, and above all quiet, which made our nights particularly restful. The modern style of the space is a real plus. Access to the terrace is a real asset, we were able to end our days there with an amazing view of the heart of Athens ( Acropolis ). The team in charge of the accommodation is very attentive: we had a small problem at 10pm, and our host responded immediately. It’s true that late at night or at night, the street may seem a little intimidating, but it’s not the most worrying neighborhood from this point of view. Athens as a whole, after midnight, offers an urban atmosphere that still testifies to the effects of the 2008 crisis. It may seem confusing at first, but in reality, there is no danger. When you visit the capital, it’s an atmosphere you can expect. We’ll definitely go back without a second thought. Don’t wait any longer and book!
